Pauline Litvin is a concert violinist and teacher with twenty-five years of international experience. She graduated from the famous Moscow Conservatory and began her musical career in Russia with the Moscow Regional Philharmonic as a member of the chamber orchestra and string quartet.
In 1989 she moved to the U.S. and joined the New York City Opera, where she participated in numerous summer festivals in the New York State as an orchestra player and soloist. In the early nineties she became the associate concertmaster of Savannah Symphony Orchestra, and later she relocated with her family to Atlanta, Georgia where she taught and mentored many talented students from her violin studio.
From 2005 until 2019, Ms. Litvin lived in France and Monaco where she was the Music Director of the L’Association de Musique de Chambre (Chamber Music Association). She produced many successful concerts in the Principality of Monaco and played with the best musicians from Monte-Carlo, Nice and Cannes, as well as with internationally acclaimed musicians from abroad.
Throughout these years, Ms Litvin continues to find great satisfaction in teaching students how to master the violin. Her method draws influence from the Russian school of violin playing, emphasizing articulation, impeccable technique and a thorough understanding of the musical phrase. She currently lives in Warsaw, Poland.
